Drill down from Stacked Column Chart

Dear experts:

I have been trying unsuccessfully to accomplish the following:

I have source data of sales stages and their classification ("heat") in a stacked column chart, like this:

Now I want to be able to click a specific value point (e.g. "hot" opportunities in stage "2") and then use those two values to populate a table with the details of all those opportunities matching the clicked segment ("show all hot opportunities in stage 2").

But I can't figure out how to update two cells with the values selected - I can only get a full column (which field?) or a full row (which column?), or a position and such. I have tried with the filter object but can't seem to get it to work. Can anyone point me in the correct direction?
