Atcual costing variant?

dear all,

normally plan costing variant we maintain in standard cost estimate,

and actual and plan maintain in order type.

where will impact the actual costing variant and how differnciate in production order.

Hi Krishna

In production order, when you see order cost analysis, you will find 2 columns there. One for plan and other for Actual. In actual column all figures are coming as per strategies defined in valuation variant which is assigned to your actual costing variant.

Plan costing variant is used to calculate preliminary cost estimate of the order which is populated in Plan column of order cost analysis.

Hi Krishna,

Actual costing variant is used for calculate actual activity prices and over heads at month end. This variant is used when we do revaluation of prices.
