Business Unit Req for Billing

Dear Champs,

Please confirm that z BU Conflagration with Company Code is essential for creation of just billing doc or it is mainly req for Accounting Doc creation with ECC Integration and we can create billing doc easily on CRM without BU configurations.

Hi,

Billing Unit is required for creating billing documents in CRM even if you are not posting them to FICO.

It is one of the essential fields to be configured and mapped to the respective sales or service org.

I created Billing Unit BP Role and then Assign it to relevant Sales Org which i created in SAP CRM.  But still i could not find Sales Order in Billing Due List .My req is Order related Billing Doc.

I could not do any configuration with BU with Company Code b/c i hve no integration with ECC. now , assignment with Comp Code is essential or Just Billing Doc can be created on SAP CRM without this assignment
