Hi All,
clent requirement :
Sunday has to Loss of pay(If the employee taken leave like 09/05/2015 to 11/05/2015) .
we configured absence valuation, its working fine on week days(Its deducting working hours for those week days) but in sunday it's not deducting
working hours,
Ex: In the month of May I maintained LOP on 09/05/2015 to 11/05/2015, please find the below screen shot.
Absence hours its showing only for two days .
Question:1. Sunday off day, So system considering working hours- 0 ?
2. Is it required any PCR to recognize the system to deduct working hours on sunday.
3. Is there any other way to deduct LOP on Sunday.
Regards,
Prasad
Check T554R Day rules , Configure that as per the requirement and assing the day rule to the valuation basis in the counting classes in T554C Still , If it is now working we have to go with by Editing factoring PCR

Hi All,
Thank you verymuch for your quick updates.
I wongly narrated the issue.. Actually we created two absence types
1. Loss Of pay(Sunday also)
2. Half Day Loss Of Pay
Half day Loss of Pay(It will calculate based on working hours)
Half day Loss of Pay: For this absence type it will calculate based on working hours, So we did the changes like this. its working fine.
After did this changes, its effecting Absece type Loss Of Pay, It will not calculating based on calendar days.
Queries:
What are all changes i have to do in this PCR to caculate both calendar days and Planned working hours.

No config (in counting rules, etc) can help for counting intervening week ends or non-working days. For example
Config -
- counting rule:
- - seq no. 1: select week days M-F; select No.of working hrs > 0
- - seq no. 2: Select Sunday; deselect working hrs > 0
Assume PWS with M-Sat working, Sunday - off
Scenario 1
if the leave request is from Friday this week to Monday next week, counted as 4d -fine!!!
Scenario 2
if the leave request is from Friday this week to Sunday, some people may put in a request like this. counted as 3d - is this correct?
Scenario 3
Leave request split: request 1 Fri-Sat; request 2 Mon (next week)
Intervening Sunday not counted.
This may be covered with complex PCR's. It would be better to use user exit or ABAP Enhancement of the IT 2001 program MP200000 - where counting is done.
In some installations, combining of continuous leave requests has been attempted, but not very successfully.
