Hi Sel,

You need to check event viewer if you are getting the event I'd 0 against the service saprouter service, then you have to fix the issue with the sapnote which we have suggested in your last post.

If you are not getting the event I'd 0 issue , then open the services file where you have installed the saprouter.

Add the entry sapmsO01  3601/tcp and hit enter.save the file.

Restart the saprouter service and also refresh the router by firing the command saprouter -n

Test the connection.

Dear SS

I did all steps: added key in Application->Events and added service in service file. But it is not resolved the issue.

Thanks

Hi Sel

Could you refer the SAP Note and check the connection string on your SAP system in SM59 and Transaction OSS1 check the SAP local router and  remote router host name and  IP address.

Dear SS

I reconfirmed all the settings mentioned in the SNote 2000132 and everything is ok.

For info,

Previously everything was working. We got the issues after changing SAPRouter system.

So there is no changes in Front End and network access.

Thanks

Hi Sel

1.  On your first message IP Address 172.16.7.10 is belong to new or old router ?

2. Follow the steps as mention in the link

Dear SS

All steps are taken care mentioned in the link. Basically we replaced the sap router with new one which has Windows 2012 Std 64 bit version and SAPRouter 740. So that the ip address and other network stuffs are same.

Thanks

Dear SS

Yes, we are able to communicate with required port number 3299.

We have tested by using telnet. As I mentioned earlier, we did not change any setting in networking level as it was previously working perfectly .

Thanks

Hello Sel,

Can you please simulate the issue again, and then share at this thread:

- dev_w?? and dev_rfc?? trace files where the error was raised ("??" stands for the work process number that you can see at the SM59 error details);

- the saprouter log/trace files.

Hi SS

I missed the following step to implement. I implemented the following step as well.

11. From 04/15/2015 11:00 AM CET until 07/18/2015 you need to import the old SAProuter Root CA manually:

The old SAProuter SMP Root CA certificate is attached to SAP note 2131531.

Import the old SAProuter SMP CA Root CA certificate as trusted into your PSE.

sapgenpse maintain_pk -a smprootca.der -p local.pse

This is necessary, since SAP has to keep using saprouter certificates signed by the old SAProuter SMP Root CA for interoperability reasons. If you omit this step, SNC connections to SAP cannot be established.

Now I have another issue where the saprouter is not working when it is on Windows NT Service. If I run manually,  it is working fine.

I create the NT service by using the following command,

----------------------------

sc.exe create SAPRouter

binPath= "D:\SAPRouter\USR\SAP\SAPRouter\saprouter.exe service -r -R

D:\SAPRouter\USR\SAP\SAPRouter\SAPROUTTAB" start= auto obj= "NT

AUTHORITY\LocalService"

----------------------------

Anybody can help to trouble shoot sap router NT service.

Thanks

Hi Sel

1. What is the status of service? is it started or stopped?

2. From your SAP Router system connected to external network (Like connected to local proxy server or direct connection to internet)?

Hi SS

Manually I can start the service now and can connect to OSS.

Now the status is started.

It is direct connection to internet.

Thank You

Hi

Oh cool, On windows services you can set the service auto start when system rebooting time.

Now you can check the SAPOSS - RFC
