Employee Central & On-Premise Payroll

Hi Experts,

my Customer plans to Use the following Szenario:

Employee Central for Full Master Data maintaince

SAP On-Premise Payroll

The Payroll System should be Managed by the Customer itself and should not be moved to SAP.

THe Data maintainance should include the mashups for the german payroll Infotypes.

Is this possible? Which licenses are needed in this Szenario?

Hi Marco,

Yes it is possible. The customer needs to purchase a subscription for Employee Central from SAP.

is there a Documentation for the Setup of the mash-ups?

does the Customer Need an additional license for this Payroll Integration?

Hi ,

You need integration to Employee Central and ECC Payroll. If you already have SAP PI then it will do for you. I am sure there must be one already integration solution existing in your architecture.

If you do not have PI or HCI then you need to get one.

Hi Marco,

Yes, see the handbooks on http://service.sap.com/ec-ondemand

The customer just needs licenses for EC and payroll - not for the integration or mash-ups.

Sorry for asking, but when I Check the guide

Implementing Employee Central Payroll

it seems, that this Integration is only possible with SAP payroll in the cloud and not at the customers Network.
