Transportation of DS

Hi friends,

The DS 0FI_GL_10 is function in BI-Dev and now i need it in BI-QA.  I am new to BI.  kindly suggest me whether I need to (a) transport DS from ECC-Dev to ECC-QA first and then replicate it in BI-QA OR (b) transport active DS from BI Dev to BI QA directly OR (c) activate DS in ECC-QA through RSA5 and replicate in BI-QA ?

we need fallow the some process while transporting data source form dev to qas.

Hi,

Thanks Phani.  The steps are when DS is enhanced.  But, I want to transport only standard DS.  still same steps to be followed?

HI,

go to the rsa6 -> change mode -> select the data source tab -> select object directory-> now it will ask for TR create the new TR.

go to se09 -> give the TR name -> check the data source name under the TR.
