In Compliance and Recipe Calc module of a SAP ERP/PLM system should compliance checks be organized? If yes,upto which highest to lowest level (Region/Country/Plant/Material) should this be carried out.

Dear Nishi

it is not 100% clear what you are looking for. First you should please describe more precise the meaning of the term: "Compliance and Recipe Calc module". To which SAP module are your referring? Currently we have two "recipe" modules in place (in the area of PLM). May be check:

Then: we have so many different "on top" compliance check in place delivered by SAP: what are you looking for?

On high level: the "activation"of checks is done based on companycode; then you need to drill down MM, SD processes (as well as PP) to define, if needed criteria which activate compliance checks.

Most of the compliance checks are related to "countries". As "plants" are located somethere it is "clear" that some of the regulations can be applied on "plant" level
