Hi friends,
at one system(DEV), we have the problem, that the redologmangment is repeatedly deactivated-during high load.
No entries found in logfiles.
MAXDB 7.9.08.
Any idea ?
Thank you
Kind regards
Thomas
Hi Thomas,
Have you checked the parameter history <sid>.pah file and also the dbm.prt for hints about this?
Check the SAP Note about this redo log management: 869267
In order to access the SAP Notes you must be logged into Service Marketplace.

Hi Thomas,
Please log on maxdb os and execute below command:
dbmcli -d <dbsid> -u superdba,<password> diag_pack
Then please upload diagpack.tgz file from maxdb run directory.
I would like to verify if the redo management is really turned off from maxdb kernel level. (SET LOG WRITER OFF).
Best regards,
James
