Error in CIF

Hi,

Whatever object I am trying to CIF using CFM1, its giving me message-Location not found for external location type 1200.Can experts throw light on this

Did you define your own location types? Location type 1200 is not defined in standard SAP TM...

If you can't find out what's going on here, just debug the inbound queue (transaction SMQR, queues CF*).

Now when I am trying to cif customers and vendors I am getting error- No location xxxx exist for mapping entry

Hi Dipak,

Try with transaction code SLG1 in ECC system to find the application logs, I guess there are some mandatory fields which are not filled.

SLG1 will give you detailed analysis

Hi Dipak,

What object are you trying to CIF?   Is it a material? This error is usually associated with plant in ECC. CIF the plant which will create a location in TM, then CIF the object.  Ensure you're queue is clear so it doesn't pick up the old messages.
