We are getting the following error in IE only:

Ajax is disabled; use all of the Web shop's functions correctly, please enable the options for Ajax in your Web browser."

We can't figure out which setting?!?  Anyone know?

Thanks,

Clint

Hi Clint,

Please have a look of the below steps

Go to "Internet Options" in your IE

Now select the "Security" tab

Please Click on the "Custom level..." button

Now look for the "Scripting" option

In the "Active Scripting" item select "Enable"

When the "Warning" message displayed then please select "Yes".

Now  click on the "OK" button to close it

Now "Refresh" IE's page

Thanks,

Thanks for the reply.

That setting was already enabled.  If its not enabled you get a JavaScript message.  We're getting an Ajax message.

Both are coming from browsercheck.xhtml...

Hi Clint,

please check the following page:
xmlhttprequest - Access denied in IE 10 and 11 when ajax target is localhost - Stack Overflow

In principle IE11 works, so it seems this is something in the setup of your environment.

This was a helpful link, but in the end we weren't able to get consistent behavior with all of the
variations:

compatibility mode

in/out of the network

in/out of the domain

with/without proxy

in/out trusted sites

etc. etc.

We had completed a full round of testing with this message with no impacts that we know of so I disabled that message with an extension.
