Hi Experts ,

We have an issue with Data Links. The user is trying to create powerpoint slides in DM and need to put some tables.  They already put the BIP range on the tables but the problem is when they tried to create the data link to get the table in powerpoint, the table is copied but not the format.  However, if the same table is copied or linked in word the format of the table is ok.  It copied the exact format of the table.

Hi Deepak

This is a current limitation of DSM

The ability to use the Excel formatting of a table in Powerpoint is not available. As per section 2.4.7 of the DSM Users guide;

Customized language settings, for example, decimal symbols and digit grouping symbols, are not supported for loading data out of a data cache. The application loads the data as it is available in the data cache.

Thanks for the response .

Is there a Service Pack or patch to solve the issue.

Or, is there a work around solution for the user.

Current Landscape : DM -10.0.4.34
