I am curious, is there a way to tell which service pack The BPC Server is on?

One of my coworkers supplied the answer.

  1. You remote desktop to the production web server
  2. logon using the bpc administrator account
  3. Open the BPC Server Manager
  4. Click Server --> Information
  5. it is the "Server Version" value. Something like 7.5.112.03

Must be an easier way.

Next question, how do I compare that to what is available?

during login you will found top-right the release number, with this just follow the note that John wrote before.

From the web admin console, below the copyright notice the "About Planning and Consolidation" is actually a link and will pop up a window

it gives me 7.5.112

Apparently 7.5 is the major version and 112 - 101 = 11 = the service pack number according to

The Server has an additional ". 03" According to this entry that is the "patch" number.

That link is asking for a username and password. Does not help.
