Ariba integration through HCI

Hi,

We are running SAP ERP 6 EhP5 with SRM 4.0. This version is already out of support and we are looking for replacement options. Ariba is one of the options.

Integration of SAP ERP and Ariba through PI requires at least 7.10 version. We are currently at PI 7.0 so might as well upgrade to PI 7.4. However, the question is whether the integration content delivered by SAP can also be deployed on Hana Cloud Integration Platform? Has someone evaluated this option?

FYI, I have done some research into the RDS available for Ariba integration. This document seems to suggest on slide 21 that both SAP PI and HCI are optionsviable . However, later in the document, it only talks about SAP PI. Can you share you experience please?

the RDS you mentioned has just been updated to version 8, and now provides for even better support of connectivity scenarios between SAP ERP and Ariba using HCI. Find the improved Ariba Network Integration for SAP Business Suite rapid-deployment solution version 8 here.

In the cloud Integration Content Catalog (f.k.a. SAP HANA Cloud Integration catalog), a new entry highlights Ariba Network integration using the RDS content with SAP HANA Cloud Integration.

If you were planning to replace the SRM shopping cart and employee self-service scenario with Ariba Procure-to-Pay, you could find the Ariba Procure-to-Pay Integration with SAP Business Suite rapid-deployment solution helpful.
