How to transfer OCI custom field content to SAP custom field ?

Hi,

For PS, external catalog.

I have maintained the field mapping SPRO (in table: IOCI_FCONV) as follows for my catalog:

SAP field <=> HTML field.

RIHFCOM_XL-CUST_FIELD1  <=>  NEW_ITEM-CUST_FIELD1

Now I want to pass the content of the field RIHFCOM_XL-CUST_FIELD1 to a custom SAP field in structure RESBD.

I see the method COMPONENT_VIA_CATALOG_MODIFY is the ideal place for me to update the "RESBD".

But the method COMPONENT_VIA_CATALOG_MODIFY does not have any reference to the my source OCI data table RIHFCOM_XL so this is not helping me.

Can anyone suggest where I can capture the OCI custome field content to a SAP field.
