BPC: Maintain Dimension via Input Schedule

Hi expert,

I would like to maintain a dimension via EPM Data Manager,

I already know how to maintain it via package with this reference: http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/2020b522-cdb9-2e10-a1b1-873309454...

But I want to know, is it possible to do this via input schedule?

I have already create a report below to show COST_CENTER dimension:

COST_CENTER:

Test case: I want to change the Flag Finance of a Cost Center from blank to "X" in excel and then commit it to database.

Is it possible?

Hi Agus,

As far as i know ,  It is not possible.

If you are looking for some workaroud - Add a member in account dimension and use it to store values 1 and others will be empty.

you can retrieve the values in the report based on this account dimension member.

Hi Sridhar,

I finally found a document related to this requirement: http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-54746

If I am not misunderstand, to do so:

- create a macro to run a package. Macro is used to read input in cell excel and then pass it to a package.
- the package run a script logic.
- and then the logic script run a badi to update/insert the dimension.

I will try it.
