RFC call - CALL_FUNCTION_ILLEGAL_P_TYPE

Hi Folks,

Just wanted to ask if any of you has experienced this issue before.  One of our users are getting this error when trying to open a specific query

"Nested exception. See inner exception below for more details:

Invalid program status\: RFC call BICS_PROV_OPEN returned an exception: RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE: Wrong parameter type in an RFC call - CALL_FUNCTION_ILLEGAL_P_TYPE"

We tried both our Ids in my machine, and it works.  However, when we try it on her machine, both our ids are giving the error.

We are using the Analysis Office 1.4 SP5.

The query is working in Analyzer as well

Some news:

Delete all contents in

C:\Users\<your_user>\AppData\Roaming\SAP AG\SAP BusinessObjects Advanced Analysis\cache

After deleting it worked.

Made no difference for me, on version 2.0 - if I reinstall 1.4 all is okay?

Hi Mark - there is a related thread on this but I am not sure if it covers your issue.

Is there any chance you could update to SP12 or higher and try it with this user again?

same problem!

Analysis 2.0 SP3

No default values in query as mentioned in the other thread.

BEx Analyzer works fine.
