Hi,

I had just had a chat with some engineering colleagues. The best at this stage is to open a support ticket.

Best regards

Hello Antoine this problem is solved after we updated the windows server.

Thank you for your help,

Hi Onur,

Your issue might relates to the fact that you are using a VPN.

When installing the client and server, you were requested a host name/IP address.

You will need to make sure that the host name/IP address is accessible both with and without the VPN.

For example, on our SAP laptop, our firewall are blocking IP addresses not in SAP range of address. Therefore when I'm at home, I can't connect because my home IP address range is different.

Hope this helps.

Hi Abdel,

The problem is strange because it happened after I have deleted the old version and installed the new version of Predictive Analytics. As you have said , I can connect in Lan network with client while I can't connect when I try with VPN. But these problems only applies to my computer and my colleuge connects with no problem,

Hi,

There are a few command you can test from your machine to verify the connectivity.

From a dos command prompt:

ping <the host name/ ip used on the login window>

tracert <the host name/ ip used on the login window>

telnet <the host name/ ip used on the login window> 12345

telnet <the host name/ ip used on the login window> 12347

if any of this fails, it is a network or firewall issue.

You can also compare with the result when you are not on VPN.

Hi,

Did you had a chance to test the few commands listed in my previous reply?

Hi Abdel,

I have used KnockKnock software to check " ipadress:12345 port " , my computer can reach it via VPN and also with local network. I have managed to overcome this problem with openining new Remote Assistant without closing the existing one with warning.

When I open second one it works smoothly.

Hi,

This is really strange... because it should connect the first time...

You mentioned that you are using PA client 2.2 but your colleagues are using client 2.0.

What is the server version?

This is really important because we are not supporting different version between the client and server, so if the client is 2.2 then the server must be 2.2 too.

But in normal situation we would let you connect and tell you that you are not using the correct version, and disable most feature.
