Storage Location in MARD from POSDM

Hello All,

I have been working on finding the logic behind storage location determination for an article which can be used for the articles in POSDM transactions.

MARD is getting updated at the end of the day with storage locations for the articles but what is the logic/process or outbound task behind updation of this table.

My task is replicate this logic either in HANA, if not in ABAP for a use-case.

Any quick help will be appreciated.

Hi Nitin,

SAP determines the storage location using the combination Shipping Point + Plant + storage conditions ( T.code OVL3), and it is configuration, it determines only at delivery level and not at order level.
