Has anyone an idea how to handle in such a process? We have to have process for moving stock from
material A (type OIL&GAS) to material B (type HAWA).
Choosing MIGO and moving type 309, system returns message:
»Source UoM group GAS not identical to target UoM group ___: Message no. O3073
Diagnosis: The unit of measure group for the transaction material is not the same as that of the
target material. The unit of measure groups of both materials must be
identical.
Procedure: Use another material that uses the same unit of measure group, or maintain the material
master so that the two materials use the same unit of measure group.«
Material A has to be OIL material – excise duty has to be handled in purchase phase.
When kept on stock, duty is not paid yet. When material A is moved to sales site, duty is
calculated and paid. For special business purpose for sales part the sale material should be
HAWA (or something similar). So we tried to move material A to material B.
I assume, that the message is raised, because OIL materials have two basic units comparing
to one (all other types). How can we handle this?

Please have a look into the OSS note if applicable for your case 170087 - Plant-to-Plant transfers with different conversion groups

Based ===on the error you should be able to understand what is the error that causing .Both material should have same UOM.
Or in other words there should be conversion factor defined.

Hi.
“Stock keeping unit” for both materials (A and B) is PCS. But OIL material A has
additional “Stock keeping unit” – L at 15ºC (updated simultaneously when handling with PCS).
And my question is, if there is any other TRX instead using MIGO-309 for handling OIL
materials?

there is no other transaction, you can have different conversion groups but not different unit of measure groups
Please see OSS note 170087 - Plant-to-Plant transfers with different conversion groups
