Default revesion level when creating a material

Hello,

Revision levels are assigned to a material basically with an engineering change notice or during material master processing (eg. GR).

Is there any possibility to assign automatically a pre-defined revision level to all materials newly created for a plant?

Revision level can be done through Material Master or through ECM.

According to all searches I made, there is no way in the standard SAP to assign automatically a revision level.

We have created an ABAP program which will detect all new materials of the day and assign automatically a predefined revision level

Do you mean extending MM to MRP view or creating a new material with MRP View?

To do that automatically I think you would need to implement using Material BADI.
