Hi SSM experts,
Is it possible to change the Scorecard default settings for all users in Strategy Management?
As said, if we would like to users to see certain columns only (customised columns), does the user need to change their own column settings? Or is there a way that we can change the default setting or synchronise the setting of Administrator to all users?
We are on SAP Strategy Management 10.1 SP6.
Thanks.
Ken
Hi Ken,
There is no default global setting that can be applied using the SSM user interface. There is however a way of doing it within the backend database tables.
The best way to achieve this is to setup a user with the preferred settings / preferences, then apply this setting to all users by using some basic update <table> Set <values> SQL Syntax in the relational database.

Hi Les,
We have managed to synchronize user account settings in the Scorecard component. There are two key tables - CPMS_BOOKMARK and CPMS_USERPREFS.
However, if a user hasn't login before, there is no record for him/her. Is there a way that I can make their customized view on their first login?
Thanks.
Ken
Hi Ken,
We have recently done this by using your base user template for both CPMS_BOOKMARK and CPMS_USERPREFS and created an import file with a list of SSM users that uses the base user as its profile.
So best way to do the list of users is go to NWA > Identity Management ad search on the strategy group. This will give you a list of SSM users. Then use this list to create / extrapolate a data set to import into both CPMS_ tables.
