SSL SHA2 Certificate

Hi Guys,

We installed the SHA256 certificate , being installed in the Quality Dispatcher I want to check weather it's working or not .and when I check the certificate in the Internet Explorer (shown in the below screen shot) , am just puzzled seeing SHA1

Am puzzled why we are getting the Key Usage with such a symbol and why is it showing SHA1

Is it that the installation has a problem?

Hi Kaushik,

Here it is using 128 bit key.

But you want to use 256 bit.

Get the 256 key files and overwrite the 128 bit key files.

Hi Sugan, How can we find out it's using a 128 bit key  and can u guide me how to Get the 256 key files as well [ overwrite the 128 bit key files] meaning do I need to delete the existing certificate and reinstall again with the new 256 certificate because as i recollect I did the same. regards kaushik G
