Hello,
We are using customized version of RBBP_OFFLINE_EVAL for Offline SC approval. In our landscape we have 3 different systems for different regions. Approvals were working fine when we had different email ID's for 3 systems(workflow.robot@sysid1.domain.com,workflow.robot@sysid2.domain.com,workflow.robot@sysid3.domain.com).
But when it is changed to same ID ( workflow.robot@sys.domain.com) , it stopped working. Upon some debugging we think the reply email from Approver is not in SAP inbox so the program is not finding anything. How can we check to make sure that the new email id can hold the mails in SAP inbox when a mail is sent from outside ?
Thanks in advance!!
Hello,
it is not possible to have same email address for different systems !
How can your mail server can know to which system send the mail? You need rooting rules based on sub-domain adresses for each SRM system (which was your first situation).

Hello,
i do not talk about having different workflow users (one with different name for each system)...
I say that WF-BATCH user, existing on different environments, you cannot give same email address (SU01) in each environment as your mail server will not be able to know to which SRM system send the mail...
This is exactly the same problem for your Dev, Qual and Prod environments...

Hi,
Are you having process control workflow or application control workflow ??
In case of process control workflow - when the approval email reply comes to the system, the system will search for the corresponding user id based on the email address of the approval email.
If there are more than one User IDs having the same email id maintained then the system will not be able to determine the correct user id or system in your case. Consequently the system will process the approval email and SHC will not be approved.
