We are being asked to have the ability to edit - specifically add notes - to a dispute case that is already closed. Can someone tell me how you can do this? I have tried the closed status and that doesn't allow for input - only display. I have tried other system statuses and they don't actually close the dispute - and assign the dispute case to the document in A/R. Is there a way to close the dispute - zero the disputed amount and clear the document - but allow entry of notes after that?
This is not possible.
Once it is closed - it is closed - no further action can be performed.
The only thing you can do (which I dont recommend) is to re-set the cleared open items (this will change the status away from closed) add the notes - and then clear the open items again.
If this is for one or two disputes the over-head is not too great.
