How to make a cost estimate according to the valid period of production versions

Hi guys,

I intend to make a cost estimate according to the valid period of production versions.

Here is the steps that I have taken.

1. Create production versions in material master data

     Version 1  2015/06/01~2015/07/31  $2040

     Version 2  2015/08/01~2015/09/30  $1220

2. Make a cost estimate in CK40N over the period from 2015/06/01 to 2016/03/31

I expected an estimate caculated using weighted average.

However I got the result of $2040.

Not like in CK11N, there is no field to select production version in CK40N.

I would preciate it if you could tell me what other action I should take to make a cost estimate according to the valid period of production versions.

Hi,

After save the costing run, if you click on selection, under dynamic selections you can find the field production version. Here you can input the version as in CK11N. I have attached screen shot also for your reference.
