CK11N: Bom issue

Dear All,

While executing CK11N one material in BOM is not included in std cost.

Bom for material is:

Material 1(rm)=10 qty

Material 2(rm)=10 qty

Material 3(by product)=1- qty

Material 4(SFG)

While executing CK11N material 1,2 and 3 are visible but material 4 values are not updated.

I have checked that for material 4 price and qty are maintained properly in material master but still it is not picking up in CK11N.

What can be the reason behind this behavior of system????

Hi Nitisha

  This is SFG mat..is it procured item or manufactured (inhouse)  ?

  If procured..Check procurement type in MMaster..it should be external procure

                    In costing view tick "Do not Cost"

  If manufacture item then Pro type will be Inhouse and do not tick "Do not cost"

  Then you have to first cost SFG mat and release it to update standard cost.

Split valuation is activated and SFG is procured and produced in house both.

To add I have release the std cost of sfg first and after that I`m executing CK11N for FG.

So when you costing FG in itemization view sfg is not coming? is it? what message it is showing in error log..please see that...reason may be be sfg defined in fg bom is not getting explore ..just see the error log and tell

Hi Kamal,

Under Extra tab I have selected Information and in information I choose the BOM option.

When BOM is displayed I have selected Item tab and in this material 4 is not displayed but when I display BOM for Fg using t-code CS03 material 4 is very much assigned.

Just for information PP guy has added material 4 in the Bom for FG yesterday.Earlier only material 1,2 and 3 were available.

May be while changing the Bom for FG PP guy must have done some mistake.

May be you are correct...have you seen error log after running CK11N..pl see that and send the detail message.. that will help much to identify the reason

One thing you can do..in FG Material Master in prod version assignment in MRP again do the version assignment after deleting the earlier one...

Hi Kamal,

Done this also and tried to change BOM again...

Earlier only 3 materials were present in BOM but now it has 4 material...Material no. 4 is newly added...I think there is some mistake here only...

To change the Bom i have followed below steps:

1. t-code:CC01

valid from date:26.06.2015

change no. status:01

then selected check bov Object type and ticked first 3 options and saved it.

The change no. generated

2. t-code cs02

material number,plant,bom usage,change no. details given

deleted material no.4 and after that added it again.

Done the changes in material master of both FG and material no.4 assigned version again after deleting the earlier one.

Again executed CK11N but still it is not including material 4 details.

In BOM item No 4 check Item cat..L  and assembly should be ticked

Hi Nitisha,

Check the material in the BOM whether the costing relevancy has not maintained. Due to this it is not picking in CK11N. Hence you have to select it, then it comes in CK11N.

Hi,

Go to CS03 -> enter the material no.,plant,usage after that it displays raw materials defined for the material, then double click on item no for which it is not displaying in CK11N, then go to tab status/lng text there is costing relevancy check box is there, here it should be 'X'. Otherwise it wont come in CK11N. For your reference I have attached screen shot.

Check the BOM quantity maintained at header level and in SFG material. Both quantity should be same.

Surely it is BOM related...are you using change number when using new item..if so check whether

release key has been set in change number

I have checked change number in display mode..it is change master without release key!!!!

How can I set release key in change number??

Go to change mode and set release key....take help from PP guy
