How to extract SQL query from Crystal reports

Hi All,

I want to get the query from the specified crystal report. I have referred the following link...

and tried to do the same with my visual studio 2013. But ended up in some exception. Here is the exception I have received

Interop type 'GroupPathClass' cannot be embedded. Use the applicable interface instead.

Can someone help me to solve this?

Hi Sebastian

Make sure you are using SAP Crystal Reports, Developer Version for Visual Studio .NET, Service Pack 14. See here for download links:

What version of CR was the report created in? (Note that this will not work for reports created with CR for Enterprise).

What is the database?

Are you able to connect to the database and get a report on the screen in your app?

Try this with a new test report - one table, one field - does that work?
