DBconnect does not seem to work with SQL server 2012

I am trying to read in some views that sit on SQL 2012.  Our BW system is on SQL 2008.  It will not show any views or tables on a 2012 server but works fine with 2008 & 2008R2.  Are their drivers we need Basis to install?
