Error while applying leave through ESS or SAP R/3

Dear Team,

While applying leave through ESS or SAP R/3 system is showing error message as given below but same is coming for only one employee rest of the employees is working fine.error is coming for employees which has transferred .

Hi

Can you check list of open requests of the employee in past. There is chance that either employee organisation details or manager details have been changed since a old open request is still open.

Use below to check the status.

PTARQ transaction > Display Documents (RPTARQDBVIEW program).

Delete the open documents and related work flow for old leave requests, which are still open without any sense.

Then see if it worked.

There is old workflow request present in PTARQ even though i have deleted the request but still same error is coming .

Did you delete document and workflow both. Because from PTArq you only can delete document.

You need to delete workflow associated with old items as well. we first find the workflow task no from ptarq document display.  use t-code SWWL for deleting the work flow. then delete the old document.

Hi

I just checked your subject of topic. It is saying you are not able to apply leave from R/3 as well. In this case, the issue will not be from documents.

There must be black quota issue here. Can you check if there are some quota which is not valid for employee, is still there. It happens when employee's EG/ESG or PA/PSA changes, which changes quota eligibility.

Run report RPTKOK00 to see if there is quota inconsistency.

In SE38 txn, enter the program name and press execute.  In the selection fields, enter the pers.no, enter/select absences/quota types details or use a wild card.  Press execute.  This will display any inconsistencies,   If there is any, it will provide an option to fix the errors. Selecting the option takes you to RPTPBC10 screen.  Here select to fix both abs quota records & absence records and run.

The employee may not have enough bal as on the day of leave start.

Or the abs quota types you are looking may not be the types being debited to for the abs type.

Or the total of bal available (from the abs quota records with deduction or validity period which corresponds to the leave period, may not be enough.
