rescse - reversal issue

reversal was executed using tcode RERAPPRV (reverse contract postings - selection by process id). this does not change the status of settlement unit (cost collector) - status remains 'settled'. in tcode RESCE, no further activities can be done, either display results of settlement; continue or reverse.

Hi,

Actually it is as per the desired behavior.

Forst you should reverse the Service Charge settlement (RESCRV) and then reverse the Periodic Posting (RERAPPRV).

Hi Sid,

Yes agree that RESCRV should be used instead. But in this case no further activities can be done in RESC. Any suggestion how to fix this issue?

Thanks.

Hi Clarissa,

do you mean that you used the settlement ID created by the service charge settlement (ends with ... RESC) by mistake when reversing with transaction RERAPPRV?

Hi ,

It seems that Clarissa has reversed the posted condition of the contract first via RERAPPRV and while the amount of that condition was already settled to the respective cost collectors, now the system is not allowing to reverse the Service charge settlement via RESCRV.

: Please correct me if I am wrong in understanding the issue.

Siddharth

Hi Franz,

Yes, actually (the user) executed service charge settlement. Then used transaction RERAPPRV in the reversal. Settlement ID created by SCS was used in the reversal.

Hope this clarifies.

Thanks.

Hi Clarissa,

thanks for clarification. Please implement the SAP note 1322352 to prevent a reversal with the wrong transaction for the future.

For correction of the wrong data please open an incident to SAP Support.

Hope this helps.

Hi Sid,

Actually, SCS was executed first. Then in the reversal, transaction RERAPPRV (selection by process ID) was used using the settlement ID created by SCS.
