Chart UIBB: Export Chart Image

Hello Everybody,

I was wondering whether it is possible to export the chart displayed in a Chart UIBB as an image as it is already possible to export data from a List UIBB to a spreadsheet (if enabled in configuration).

Do you have any idea if that's possible? FPM Team: Is this feature already existing / planned?

Hi Michael,

indeed, we have invested into this topic

There is a "Export as PNG" function delivered with NW750 SAP_UI SP0, the solution is based on canvg.js! You may enable this feature with a corresponding flag in the FLUID General Settings.

Unfortunately we are using NW740. You are not planning on delivering this as a feature pack for 740, are you?

Hello Michael,

currently it is planned only for NW750, But technically it could be also implemented for NW740.

Will get back to you, if I hear of any updates.

maybe one additional remark:

Once you have implemented NW740 SAP_BASIS SP8, you may implement also NW750 SAP_UI SP0 on top.
