Hello,
after upgrading from IE9 to IE11, we get a odd behaviour on the web client.
After we selected the Role XY, the cursor flashes very fast in every textfield/, not like normally. In all other tested Roles
we don't get this kind of behaviour.
It's only a minor detail, but if you have to work in this role for hours, it makes you crazy.
I hope someone has a solution.
Hi Jens,
Can you please check whether following notes helping you. These are for IE11 issues.
2026791, 2019878, 2024527 and 1898295
2073459 2026791 1900958
And if you face issues while pasting values from excel, try note 2117170.
Thanks,
Faisal

Hi Jens,
please, could you provide more details about the Role XY?
Is it customer role derived from some standard role?
Is it Interaction Center role or normal Busines Role?
Do you have telephony integration? If it is an IC based role, do you use IC alerts?
I have not met such behaviour but it could be some frenzy Javascript coding, this can be influenced by:

=> This role is derived from the standard role UTIL_IC
Is it Interaction Center role or normal Busines Role?
=> It's a IC role
Do you have telephony integration?
=> Yes, it is
If it is an IC based role, do you use IC alerts?
=> Yes, we use alerts.
I have not met such behaviour but it could be some frenzy Javascript coding, this can be influenced by:
- Do you use polling? If yes, what frequency you have setup (default is 1000 ms).
- Do you use heartbeat profile?
=> Sorry, but where I can find the settings for this parameters?

Jens
Hi,
this setting you can find in IMG (transaction SPRO): CRM->Basic Functions->Communication Mangement Software Integration:
Here you define the profiles, which are then assigned to your business role:
It is just a blind shot but these settings can most influence dymanic communication between CRM and browser.
Maybe you can also run Httpwatch or maybe the IE integrated developer tool (F12) and see, whether the blinking is somehow associated with frequent http communication.
Please, which CRM EHP and SP do you use? There are also some new features and improvements in this area.
Regards,
Dawood.
