Hello Expert,
I have some issue related to IT 416, scenario like this.
Employee join in the 2014 year, he get 10 days as PL, out of 10 days he used 5 PL so remaining 5 PL is carry forward to 2015 as carry forward leave quotas.
Now in the 2015, he got 15 days leaves and used 5 leaves so he has 10 days PL quota for current year.
Now client wants to enchases the whatever leave balance are remaining, so for above example employee is eligible to take 15 days leave encashment.
1) 5 days - carry forward leave - previous year balance
2) 10 days- Current PL balance.
So I have configure Time Quota Compensation (416) infotype with 2 subtypes that 1 ) PL leaves and 2) Carry forward leaves.
So when I create IT 416, and select subtype 01 - PL leave, it is properly deducting current leaves
But I went for subtype 02 -carry forward leaves- quota is not deducting from carry forward leaves but it is deducting from Previous year PL leaves.
Here Payroll and Time mgt is not integrated, so not required any PCR, Time evaluation is not using for generating leaves balance on monthly basis, so that leave balance are uploaded through manually.
I have configured table "Assign Wage Types to the Quotas to be Compensated Table no. V_T556W" where need to select year as "0- Zero" but still system is not working well.
Please help me how can I resolved this issue.
Thanks

Hi
The issue you have is related to how SAP standard does Quota compensation. There is a specific setting in Quota compensation that ignores the Deduction period of the Quota.
See: SAP Note 818886 - Infotype 416: Consideration of deduction intervals
https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/818886
The above details this very issue and advises the steps required to resolve it.
You will need an ABAP consultant to perform the change.
Please mark as correct if helpful.
There is a problem with the Note in that it cannot be found on the Market Place. SAP has marked it as not released.
