Can anyone help me.
You can assign a position to an employee only for the period/s when the position object (i.e., HRP1000) is valid.
In PPO3 txn, to extend the position from the last delimited date here in your case 01.01.10, copy the object row to the new period as 01.01.15 to 31.12.9999. If copying is not allowed, insert a new object row for the period. Then you will see two rows of the object for the two periods. You can also copy from the next date after the delimited date.
After this, go to txn PA40, to assign the position to an employee.

Hi anand,
Check the position which you want to maintain from 01.01.2015 has the end date 01.01.2010, if yes maintain the vacancy in IT1007, and run hiring or whatever action from 01.01.2015 and assign this same position in IT0000.
It will work, any challenges let me know.
Thanks
Sriram

Infotype 1000 - Object has a time constraint that does not allow any gaps (SAP standard). This means that when you extend the validity to start from 01.01.2015 it will actually undo the delimit on 01.01.2010 and carry on to 31.12.9999.
The main thing you can change is around the description from 01.01.2015.
Go to PP01, enter the position number and click the Object infotype. Click copy and set the date to 01.01.2015 along with the new description.
Repeat the copy process with all other relevant Infotypes.

Hi Anand,
From 02.01.2010 onwards this position is vacant and now you would like use this position from 01.01.2015.
You can use and assign an employee for this position from 01.01.2015 then system will automatically create a new record for this position from the date 01.01.2015 with new pernr no.

Sankarsan
