Bryan,

Not an issue. Simply a warning message. Just use "HDB info" to ensure processes are running.

Hi Bryan,

is this problem on a Linux System with SLES-for-SAP-Applications 11.2.

Then try this:

The essential hint then was in SAP Note 1310037 where it says:

SLES 11 (All versions):

For supporting the character set of certain languages on non-Unicode systems, additional code pages are needed. These are provided by the sap-locale.rpm package.

For details about how and when to apply these packages, please read SAP note: 187864.

After making changes to the "glibc" (e.g. through an update) you must reinstall the "sap-locale" RPM package.

You may reinstall the "sap-locale" package using the YaST2 Software Management ("Software" => "Software Management").

I have copied details from other post. Please update if this helps.

Cheers,

Sharma

Hi,

     I need help on how to do this.

  • Open table TCP0C in maintenance mode:
         call transaction SM30
        -> enter 'TCP0C' as table name
         -> choose button 'maintain'
  • Change entries for desired locales, e.g.
    change entry ko_KR.KCS5601 to ko_KR.euckr@SAP for Linux KO
  • Check locales with report RSCPINST (transaction SE38)
  • Save settings and restart SAP system
  • Reset the Code Page Converter Cache:

            call transaction SNLS
            -> choose both 'Operating mode: Develop'
                  and 'Level of Detail: All tools'
            -> choose from menu 'CodePages':
                  'General Conversion Program (CCC)'
            -> choose button 'Clear Cache'

Hi Sharma,

     Sorry I didn't get it. When you say 'SAPGUi ' what is it? HANA Studio?

Hi Bryan,

When you have install SAP HANA box, you can login to this SAP system using a software called SAP GUI (SAPGUI/ Graphical User Interface). Once you have that installed on your desktop / laptop then you can login to the same hana box with some user id and password.

Once that is done you can use the transcation code sm30
