Time Types In Time Management

Hi Experts,

I have a doubt in time type concept. My understanding is :

=> We create time type in T555A and assign it in table T555Y or T555Z based on requirement.

My doubt and question is on creation of time type using operation-- Lets say we are creating a new time type and  if we use operation ADDBXXXX or ADDMBXXXX in our PCR,where XXXX is time type then also we  need to create this time type in table T555A??

Hi Gopal,

You must create customized i mean your own infotypes in T555A, and also in T555A you have system owned infotypes as well..  there  are already some time types assinged to T555y and T555Z already, sap settings.. if you want to assign anything you can do it by creating your new time type and assign in T555Z depend on the requirement and that is done by function TIMTP

To answer your question.. yes you have to create new time type in T555A if you use that option.
