I am posting payroll to FICO , i am getting following error business area is no longer , please help me to solve it . screen shot is for your reference .

Hi Sindu,

Business Area is old concept to check the total cost of the particular area now it has changed to profit center concept. check with FICO team to re-check all the cost centers which are used for HR.

check the folowing configuration in Dev system:-

SPRO-->Indian Payroll -->Reporting for Posting Payroll Results to Accounting-->Activities in the HR System-->Maintaining Wage Types-->Define Posting Characteristics of Wage Types

It may also be due to (a)business area's expired validity (b)Cost Center is not open for posting

Hi,

Check whether proper Cost center assigned or not if assigned correctly then contact your fico consultant.
