report filter on structure object ?

  Hi ,

I get the following error when  i add a report filter on custom hierarchy , which is  Non-key figure structure in bex .

Are we allowed to filter on  structures coming from bex in webi ?

I was able to filter on flat struct object but I  use a hierarchy object struct object I ge the above error . Any suggestions if report filtering on a  heirarchy of struct. ( non key figure structure in bex)
