buddys,
We are using 'backward consumption' in APO and the period is '31'.
We also using the weekly forecast.
When the sales order allocate the forecast, the SO would allocate the closest forecast not the first one in the period '31'.
it seems this is the system standard.
Dose anyone know how can the SO allocate the first one forecast in the consumption period?
Thanks.
Hi Geoffrey,
Sorry but there's no standard setting to achieve this.
You can use your own consumption logic by setting consumption strategy as 'U' in product master, and implement BADI /SAPAPO/DM_BADI_CSP Method special_consumption.

Hello Geoffrey,
Sales orders consume forecasted quantities that lie before the requirements date in backward consumption.
Sales orders consume forecaste quantities according to your own consumption logic implemented via the Business Add-In (BAdI) /SAPAPO/DM_BADI_CSP implement your own consumption logic in method SPECIAL_CONSUMPTION or in method SPECIAL_CONSUMPTION_DETAIL
