Batch Split even for one batch

Hi all,

When I pick two different batches for a line item, It comes as batch splitted.

I want this to be activated for one batch for one line item also.

How can I do this?

There are 2 ways to get always the batch split item

- automatic batch determination for delivery

- batch determination via picking in WM

In the standard SAP, you will get only one line in a delivery (or SO) if there is no batch split. You cannot change it with customizing.

Hello Sefa,

The concept of Batch split is applicable in a case where the entire quantity for one line item is not available in one Batch. So the system splits the line in two Items with respective batch numbers.

If you need the same for one batch for one line item, I think you need to enter the split the same Material in two Line items, such that the total quantity remains the same and you have split line items for same item with same batch number.
