Making fields Account and contact as Non-mandatory in Campaign tasks

Hi Folks,

I have configured campaign to-do's (Campaign tasks) within a campaign.

Since the campaign is not targeted to an individual,I don't want to have the Account and contact fields as mandatory in my campaign tasks within a campaign.

I have tried using partner determination procedure by keeping min field empty for both these partners, but still not working?

Any suggestion how to achieve this?

Regards

Jayalakshmi.

Hi,

pls. make settings in Partner determination procedure as follows:

1) No entry in "Min" & "Max" field against -partner function -"activity partner " & "Contact person"

2) use this partner determination procedure in Transaction type for Task.

so activity partner , contact person is not mandatory ,

hope this helps,

regards,

Prashant

Hi Prashant,

I tried this setting(mentioned in my earlier post) but it just applies for Parties involved assignment block.

This setting makes both partners (activity partner and contact person) disappear from the drop down option of partner function in Parties involved assignment block.

But my requirement is to make Account and contact fields(In general data) as non Mandatory fields.

Any idea how to achieve this?

Regards

Jaya

Hi Jaya,

You can use below links which describes how to make fields as mandatory/non-mandatory in WEBUI:

Option 1 : How to make input fields mandatory in CRM WEB UI ( http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-46838 )

Option 2 : Make a field Dynamically Mandatory ( http://scn.sap.com/community/crm/webclient-ui-framework/blog/2013/07/17/make-a-field-dynamically-man... )
