Leave overwriting in SAP

Hello Everyone,

Can we stop annual leave from overwriting other leaves? We currently had a situation where an employee had maternity leave in the system, and then booked annual leave through the portal (which was approved by the manager), which subsequently overwrote some of the maternity leave in the system. Is there a way to stop the system from allowing the overwrite that comes through the portal?

Hi,

You have to modify time contraints part against absence type based upon the table V_554Y_B. Where you should be select "E" reaction indicator of time constraint class 01 for infotype 2001 for annual leave absence type.

Hi Sreekanth,

This can be done by time constraints V_554y_B, first try to get the time constraints of both the leave types,then you have to go to the table V_554y_B and see what is the reaction indicator has been set for the both maternity and annual leave ,
