Hi,
We have upgraded our ERP system from ECC 6.0 to ECC EHP6.
As of now BW loads are running fine in testing system. we are getting below warning message under source system .
Source system release 731 is not the same as local information 700.
Can you please let me know, any specific activities need to perform in bw system to ignore error.
Error message: RSAR 671 Source system release &1 is not the same as local information &2
Apply notes:
2289603 - New function for reading release
2290149 - New function for reading SAP release
Also when applying the note 2290149 apply the system prompts other notes or corrections of these: 1692642, 1687391 and 1883762.
In applying these notes they should be applied both BW and the source systems to connect.

I suppose you are receiving a message like this one:
RSAR 9 BW inactive in source system
RSAR 671 Source system release 740 is not the same as local information 700
If this is the case, basically you have to activate the source system and refresh the metadata.
Start transaction RSA1 in your BI system and select the Source System (SAP type) where you implemented the EhP6.
Right click and choose Activate. After a while (10-15 min.) you will be asked how you want to replicate the datasources in the BW system (Dialog or Background, I normally choose Dialog).
At the end of the replication, the BI system will know that the ERP source system release has changed
