GRC 10.0 HR Trigger - Request description

Hi,

We've configured HR triggers successfully and changes to HR infotype are triggering new requests, however, the request description is empty.

We have configured the Action ID in spro and it contains descriptions.  Is there anything missing to get a description?

We also tried to map an HR field to the request details in "Maintain Mapping for Actions and Connector Groups", but there is no AC field that points to the request description.

Any idea?

EUP would be the way out to set mandatory fields with a default text, But EUP is not supported for HR triggers:

1665583 - Applicability of EUP configurations on HR trigger requests

That Description of the request, is not the same as the Description maintained for the HR trigger action in SPRO, they are different descriptions.

Unfortunately, there is no way to set the Request Description (which you have set as mandatory) for HR triggers.
