BroadCasted Message not displaying

Dear Experts, I am newbie in SAP Portal, using SAP EP ver 7.4. I am currently working on broadcast messaging service to send some notifications to users. I configured this using the blogs : http://scn.sap.com/community/enterprise-portal/blog/2014/08/29/broadcast-messages-in-sap-enterprise-... & http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-52851. Everything is fine, after sending message, status showing as green & status message as "Message is currently broadcasting" but the same message is not displayed in masthead container & no bullhorn symbol is showing on top of the page. Even I tried with other user logging into other browser whether it can be visible there, but no use. Let me know your suggestions on this please. Thanks Nagesh

Hi,

Did you add the broadcast message iView on the correct framework page that is being used by the end users? did you make sure it is marked as visible?

Hi Navya,

The problem was resolved after raising sap ticket.

The reason this, for Display we are using classic framework page instead of Ajax Framework Page.

Hence I added the broadcast message Iview to the Classic framework page then it started working.

There is also another possibility that you can make Ajax Framework page as your default framework page for display.
