Hi Experts,

We are creating the pre-declaration with reference to Customs bill
of ladding. In Custom Bill of ladding when we use reference doc as PO it allow
us to create the Pre-declaration but we want to try it with SO.

Is there any alternate way to do it.?

Thanks,

Manish Jangra

Hi Manish,

May i know which document type are using to create Customs bill of ladding?

You can check with the Document type controls if you are using VOV8 Document types. There is a field called 'Reference Mandatory' in VOV8 Document controls, also check with copy controls in VTAA accordingly.

Thanks

Hi Srikanth,

We are creating Customs bill of ladding in GTS system not in ECC. We can succefully create the Customs bill of ladding in GTS but while creating pre-declaration we face the issue.

Customs bill of ladding which is created with refernce to sales order is not available for creation of  pre-declararion.But it does allow us to create the pre-declaration when we use PO as refrence document.

Thanks,

Hi Expert,

We are trying to create pre-declaration using Customs bill of ladding.

While working on Declaration prior to Goods Receipt with Customs Bill of Lading No. system gives follwoing msg.

'No data found; change the selection criteria" is encountered.

We are able to process the Pre-declaration with CBOL having reference number of PO.But while creating pre declaration using CBOL having the reference number of Sales Order we are getting the above error.

We are trying to use Sales order as it is the additional requirement for the project.

Steps for Reconstruction
Go to GTS Cockpit - transaction /SAPSLL/LEGAL_MENU
Under Customs Management, select Import
Under Enter and Process Customs Declarations, execute Enter Declaration
Prior to Goods Receipt - (transaction /n/SAPSLL/CIBD_01)
Enter the relevant Foreign Trade Org Unit
Select the "Customs bill of ladding" tab and the relevant
Execute (F8)
Message "No data found; change the selection criteria" issued

Hi Manish

Can I ask why you are trying to create a pre-declaration with an Import transaction (transaction /n/SAPSLL/CIBD_01) with reference to an Export document (sales order)?

Kind Regards

Hi Ann Marie

we are in the process of upgrading SAP R/3 to ECC & GTS 8.0 to 10.1 in phases

so in this process there are some complexity that the STO will be created in old system and corresponding SO will be created in new ECC system

Now to satisfy the pre-condition of pre-declaration document of having an IMPORD document we have done development to send the SO to import section by changing the application level.

But we got stuck as this is still not satisfying the requirement in internal FM's that are checking the previous import documents

For a movement if we set aside above development, then my question is if we create customs bill of lading document manually in GTS then we should be able to create a pre-declaration with ref to CBOL as the std screen for /SAPSLL/CIBD_01 has option to enter CBOL details.

Is that right ???

If so then we are not even able to create a pre-declaration with reference to manually created CBOL. We just get a pop-up saying no data found.

Hi,

Its not possible to create a pre-declaration directly from the BOL unless there is  a reference to the IBD. You also cannot assign a sales order to the BOL.

You can create a customs bills of lading automatically from a feeder system, you can use interface /SAPSLL/API_6800_CFB_SYNCH. To make changes to existing customs bills of lading, use interface /SAPSLL/API_6800_CFB_CHG. But I have never seen a sales order used as the referencing logistics documents.

Kind Regards
