Dear all,

We want to activate the Embedded Search on our backend Fiori system (ERP/HANA)

Following the OSS notes and the Help, I found two task lists to run in the client.

In the client 000

SAP_ESH_INITIAL_SETUP_000_CLIENT

--> note we need to specify the client for the embedded search

and in the "work" client

SAP_ESH_INITIAL_SETUP_WRK_CLIENT

The question is that we actually have two clients:

100 which is the Gold Client where we have all the customizing.

200 where we have the data

The question is: which client we need to specify? Make it sense to select the client 200 for both.

Could you please advice?

Hello Cristian,

In a normal embedded search, the working client is the client where the connectors are created.

The connectors are created in the client where the data are.

it is also possible to define a system regarding ESH as a remote proxy system.

then you have access to the connectors from the attached client system.

So in your case, you should run this report in client 200.
