I understand that as of ECC 6.0 EhP7 a new High Volume Print (HVP) driver framework is available. This replaces previous HVP driver with vendor specific plug-ins. I don't have other details.
Can anyone share more information on this?
Dear Richard
topics has been discussed often. As examples:
The best option is simply to check SAP market place and to look for the original SAP OSS note. You will find the details there e.g. taking about the old "TechniData "HVP solution and the new one; how to use HVP and how to do programming a HVP

Thank you,
I found the information on EHS_GLM_WWI_HVP - Install Printer for Mass Printing to be most informative.
I have also reach out to Zebra for the plug-in, which is due for release (according to Support) in Q3 2015.
Regarding EHS_GLM_WWI_HVP - Install Printer for Mass Printing; this relates to WWI configuration. At the same time, I would expect to find some reference in SPRO. However, I don't see any in our system.
Also what version of WWI includes the HVP subdirectory as indicate in the reference? We are preparing to install SP38.
Dear Richard
i am not sure about the customizing activity "Install Printer for Mass Printing" (refer to the link): but if you do not find this activity in SPRO then you must activate the business function for GLM. According to my understanding you must activate it to profit form the new design. If you use current/recent WWi I would expect that the folder "HVP" is generated automatic if you install WWI
