The Launcher is exited with error

Hi Expert,

One of my user is having issue to use the AFO of verison 1.4.0.2528. he done with the fresh installation.

Step:

1) Open Analysis for office via start menu and even he tried to add plugin to Excel

     a)BiSharedAddinLauncher

     b)BiShared07AddinLauncher­

2) Analysis plugin is not displaying in tool bar of Excel

3) while closing the excel he getting the error.

"The Launcher is Excited with error, see log for more details"

Versions:

Excel 2010

AFO 1.4.0.2528

Note: Its working fine to remaining all.

Please help me on this.

Hi Ramesh,

Can you please check whether the following options are enabled :

1) Launch Excel and navigate to File -> Options -> Add-ins -> (In "Manage" Dropdown, Choose) Disabled Items -> Go and Make sure that "Analysis" application is not disabled.

2) Launch Excel and navigate to File -> Options -> Add-ins -> (In "Manage" Dropdown, Choose) COM Add-ins -> Go and Make sure "Analysis" Add-in is checked.

No luck here Mike.
Issue only occurred on a single pc and we just moved on

Looks like a really old version of AO 1.4.  I would try to update to AO 1.4 SPS 12 and see whether the issue still exist.
